Opus specializes in stormwater planning, management and design
We have designed over 130 drainage and wastewater pump stations, each tailored to our clients’ needs. Often these pump stations are combined with an electrical substation design or standby generator to meet ‘post disaster’ requirements.
We have more than 40 years’ experience with comprehensive drainage studies and integrated watershed management plans, including the development of policies and guidelines, and watershed models. We have designed and constructed facilities incorporating best management practices including wetlands, infiltration, drainage control structures, and drainage pump stations.
Our specialist water consultancy, Opus DaytonKnight has been recognized many times by both provincial and national engineering and planning associations for engineering excellence. We have received awards related to the design of multi-purpose stormwater detention wetlands, and to stormwater policy and design to control the impacts of development.
Our experience in Canada and the United States
Our engineers have extensive experience with drainage master planning, drainage pump stations and dike works.
