Engineering services, PLC programming and HMI configuration
Tache Water Treatment Plant is located north of Fort Saint James, British Columbia. The plant is designed for flows of up to 688 m3/day.
We implemented a software package to notify operators of a process or building alarm during and after normal working hours. We added remote access of the plant’s PLC via dial-up modem to allow support and troubleshooting of the plant’s process at Opus DaytonKnight.
The addition of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system - using Wonderware’s Intouch HMI (Human Machine Interface) graphics software for real time control, alarm, trending and reporting - means operators can now fine-tune the plant’s process.
